Whitland to Llanllyr From Whitland, follow the Landsker Borderlands Trail to Llanboidy then take side roads and field paths through Llanwinio to Dre-fach Felindre, once a centre of the Welsh weaving industry and now home of the Museum of the Welsh Woollen Industry. More side roads and green lanes lead east through the Brechfa Forest and down to Lampeter, home of Wales’s oldest university. From Lampeter a newly-waymarked path goes over the hills to Llanllyr. Here a small community of medieval Cistercian nuns lived. People and Places
